NEUF 2010 - New Energy User Friendly
Public consultations on the road maps of the National Programme for Reduction of Emissions

The conference was attended by:

The subject of the conference specifically covers the need for compromise between the guidelines set in respect of the Energy and Climate Package and the needs of national economies, which is reflected in execution of the National Programme for Reduction of Emissions and National Adptation Strategy. The experts invited to take part in the conference, who represent three distictly different approaches to the issue of sustainable development in the economy – an institutional approach, scientific approach and business-oriented approach – will present possible "road maps" in respect of reduction of GHG emissions, increasing the participation of RES in the energy balance, increasing efficiency, use of clean carbon technologies and restitution of sources whilst simultaneously ensuring the sustainable development of the economy.
The conference had an open and international nature. We are certain that as a result of the discussions between Polish and international experts we will be able to show the means in which the aims of the National Programme for Reduction of Emissions can be included in the Polish law, and also adopted and accepted by Polish society as a chance to increase the competitiveness of the industry sector and improve access to cheap and clean energy.
